Bulk Fuel Storage Terminals

The project is composed of  7 x 800 kl fuel storage terminal for different fuel grades, including aviation fuel, diesel, and gasoline including all the auxiliary systems. Smart jet engineering has provided all the required technical support services needed for the construction, testing, and commissioning of the bulk fuel storage terminal; this includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Planning and monitoring
  • Engineering and design support
  • Supply of critical equipment/instruments
  • Technical inspection and quality control on all construction activities
  • Preparation of site as-built survey
  • Project as-built 3d modeling, piping general arrangements, weld maps, test packs, piping isometrics, and all reports
  • Preparing the welding database with the necessary welding details and reports
  • Commissioning and start-up of all systems and subunits.

Aviation Fuel Additives Injection Systems

The project was basically to provide a facility to inject the different additives into the Aviation fuel Jet A-1 to convert it into a JP8 fuel, the project had two different areas that needed two different systems, one for the mainstream of the product coming from the ships to the main storage and the second one is for truck loading system.

Each system is composed of a Positive displacement additives injection unit that is fluid-driven, connected to three different PD pumps that can inject three different additives simultaneously. The system was complete with SS Piping, and SS tanks for the additives at different capacities.

The company has completely designed the system, supplied all materials, provided the client with the necessary technical support as well as performed the testing and commissioning.
